We’re on hiatus right now. The vast majority of the guild became bored with Icecrown sometime around late March / early April. This inevitably meant we didn’t kill Arthas or Halion. Boo-hoo, nobody cares (especially us). We never killed the original Kel’Thuzad either, but that never slowed us down. We’ll see you all in Cataclysm.

Side note to those applying: Our roster is full for Cataclysm, but if you truly feel you’re exceptional then you should apply anyway. And to everyone who has submitted an application over the past few months but heard nothing in return, I thank you for your interest in our guild, but we are not currently playing WoW. I would direct you to another guild on our server, our friends over at Mediocrity. They have shown no signs of slowing down. Congratulations to both them and our long lost sister guild Ropetown for their heroic Lich King kills.

My guildmates are more than a little embarrassed at the prospect of a front page news post celebrating their world 3rd 10-man victory over the Ruby Sanctum. “It’s only 10-man!” they cried. “Nobody cares about that shit,” others proclaimed. Much to their dismay, their plaintive protestations have fallen on deaf ears. Know that your discomfort was the primary motivation for creating this post, my bitter brethren.

To that end, congratulations on a job well done! I can’t wait to not kill him in 25-man this week. After all, this is excellent prep-work for when everyone stops raiding in Cataclysm due to the loot being equivalent in 10-mans.

Back on Black

About a month ago, we returned to the Blackrock server. It meant two transfers in as many months, but at least we are home now… where we belong. Don’t get me wrong, Lightning’s Blade was a fine enough server, but many of us had grown accustomed to the relatively instant queue times, the infinite GDKP pugs, and the hugely active and predominantly warm community of Blackrock. Quite frankly, it was a mistake that we ever left.

To that end, we are both proud and relieved to be back on Blackrock. It is without a doubt the best server in the US, if not the world.
